Unlike microbial and enzymatic soil products, the microorganisms in Earthworm thrive in all soil types and produce many beneficial byproducts—including natural urea, the enzyme urease, humates, and phosphorylated polysaccharides, which are beneficial for both tilth and fertility. This natural process strengthens the physical characteristics (structure, bulk density, and infiltration) of the soil and binds nutrients together to help reduce leaching and erosion.

Even during periods of heavy rain when erosion might occur, no chemical contamination occurs from run-off.
